What I have been loving recently...
Clarins Instant Light Lip Perfecter... I suffer with consistently dry lips and eczema around my mouth so that can make lipstick a bit difficult at times, so I am always seeking alternatives that I can wear day to day that wont flare up the dryness. This offers a sheer pop of colour with a moisturising formula, perfect for summer. These are 100% worth the hype they get, I will be investing in more...I think I've also found a high street dupe for this too!
Glossier Stretch Concealer... I barely reach for my other concealers any more, this just melts into the skin and doesn't cling to dry patches.
Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder... This is the best powder I have owned. I smashed it and I still scraped it until it was finished. It's so finely milled and silky, it won't settle on your skin at all. It is finally gone now but 100% worth a try if you haven't.
Nude Nails... I managed to pick up a few Essie nudes in TK Maxx and I've been thoroughly enjoying them. The Essie formulation glides on so nicely and leaves a opaque wash of colour. Shades: Wild Nude & Suit and Tied. Also been enjoying the Barry M pale pink in Strawberry Laces!
Now the sun has finally got his hat on...
Liz Earle Bronzing Cream Colour, which if you can get over the smell, is a really great product to put a bronze-y glow in your base makeup or just worn alone. The Milk Sunshine Skin Tint has really come into its own since it's been warmer, slightly too light for me now though, so mixing it with the Liz Earle to deepen it.
My skin has well and truly been having a sh*t fit lately and when this happens I always go back to my two old faithfuls... Cetaphil Rich Moisturising Cream & La Roshe Posay Cicaplast B5 Baume. These wont give you flawless skin or feed your cat, but they are both perfect for calming sensitive and aggravated skin and wont put a major dent in your bank account. The Clarins SOS Hydra Mask has also been saving my bacon recently!*
*Dedicated skincare post coming soon.
